Day 55/100
Nelson’s Ledges
If you thought the setting of Pan’s Labyrinth was beautiful, you’ll love Nelson’s Ledges. It’s full of huge, mossy green walls of rock everywhere you look. If you explore a bit, you’ll find humble waterfalls next to cool, dark caves with the prettiest mushrooms. The ledges create steep passageways a dozen feet below, where I always like to imagine building a fantastical forest home =) It’s the perfect place for running around like a little kid, no matter how old you are - just remember to bring good shoes if you want to try jumping from ledge to ledge, or climbing up tree roots!
