Day 13/100
Doan Brook / The Rocky Ravine
If you face away from Horseshoe Lake, you’ll see Doan Brook trickling on towards Shaker Lake through this little wooded area. Once JP and I carried these huge rocks all the way to her car for a workshop.. she wanted to build a genuine “altar of rocks” but it wasn’t until we had moved a handful of them across the lake that we realized they were just big broken up concrete chunks. Very disappointing. How did it all get there and what did it used to be? I also spent an entire day filming an imaginary sea serpent destroying a fleet of paper boats in that brook. Unfortunately that hasn’t quite come to fruition yet, but I will definitely post it when it does…
I’m in Chicago for the weekend, so I won’t be drawing any pictures of Cleveland until I’m back on Monday. Have a great weekend, everyone!
