On the Rise Bakery
This is a simple little French bakery with wooden tables and floors. There’s a straight view to the back where you can see people hard at work baking bread all morning long. It’s always full of people coming by foot from the surrounding area (Warrensville and Fairmount). I read once that this is Michael Symon’s favorite bakery to visit. Not surprising - everything is delicious! Their specialties are the croissants and sticky buns, but I love their scones (I happen to be on a life mission to try as many different scones as possible). On the Rise scones are the fluffy, spongy type with flavors like cranberry currant and pear ginger.
